Still have a question? Send us a note and we'll get right back to you.
Ask Us DirectlyDo I need to wash the mushrooms before cooking?
Nope. We trim and clean every mushroom before it leaves the farm, so they're ready to cook. A quick dry wipe is all you'll ever need.
How should I store fresh mushrooms?
Keep them in the fridge and enjoy them within about a week. A paper bag works better than a sealed container, which traps moisture and shortens their life.
Where can I buy your mushrooms?
You'll find us at the Mentor Farmers Market on Fridays through the season, plus GAR Horizons in Chardon. See the Where to Buy section above for the latest.
Can I buy straight from the farm?
We keep our growing space focused on growing, so we don't sell from the farm itself. The easiest way to get our mushrooms is to catch us at the market or grab some at GAR Horizons.
How do I cook Lion's Mane?
Slice it thick and sear it in butter or oil until golden. Its seafood-like texture makes it a great stand-in for crab or scallops, and it soaks up marinades beautifully.
Do you sell to restaurants or grocers?
Yes, and we'd love to. We're food-safety certified, so shops and restaurants can stock our mushrooms with confidence. Send us a note through the contact form and we'll talk about what you need.
